General Manager – New Boutique Hotel Opening in the Heart of London
Salary: £65,000-£70,000 (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
We’re bringing something special to the heart of London — boutique hotel opening in late 2025.. It’s a one-off, designed to feel intimate, personal, and deeply connected to the city.
At the core of this project is operations & Food & Beverage — not just an add-on, but a central part of the experience. From carefully crafted menus to beautifully designed spaces, we want our f&b to be as memorable as the rooms themselves.
We’re searching for a General Manager who lives and breathes hospitality. Someone who thrives being guest-facing, who can build a team full of personality and warmth, and who has the creativity and F&B experience to shape something truly unique.
This is your chance to take a hotel from concept to reality — to lead the pre-opening, set the tone and culture, and put your personal stamp on a destination that people will talk about long after they’ve left.
What You’ll Be Doing
Pre-Opening Vision & Delivery
1. Lead the hotel through pre-opening, ensuring timelines, systems, compliance, and suppliers are in place.
2. Infuse every decision with the boutique feel and guest journey at its core.
Hands-On Leadership & Storytelling
3. Recruit, inspire, and develop a brand-new team.
4. Be highly visible and guest-facing, setting a culture of warmth, character, and individuality.
Boutique Hospitality & F&B Focus ESSENTIAL
5. Shape and refine a bespoke F&B offering that’s as memorable as the rooms.
6. Collaborate with chefs, suppliers, and your team to deliver creative, high-quality menus and service.
Financial Stewardship
7. Own the P&L, budgets, and financial performance.
8. Balance commercial acumen with the bespoke, detail-driven nature of a boutique operation.
Guest Experience Above All
9. Ensure every detail — from coffee to comfort — exceeds expectations.
10. Deliver personal, memorable service that inspires loyalty and word-of-mouth.
Community & Brand Building
11. Act as the face of the hotel within the local community.
12. Build strong relationships with neighbours, businesses, and partners to embed the hotel into London life.
About You
13. Proven General Manager experience in boutique or luxury hotels.
14. Strong Food & Beverage background, with a flair for originality and quality.
15. Natural charisma and presence — you thrive guest-facing and love sharing the hotel’s story.
16. Hands-on, detail-driven, and passionate about creating personal experiences over standardised service
