What the role involves: Planning and delivering highly personalised lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with autism. Supporting pupils' communication, social interaction, and sensory needs within a structured environment. Working in line with individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and SENCOs. Tracking pupil progress and adapting your teaching to celebrate and build on every step forward. What we're looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Primary teaching experience with a strong understanding of autism and associated needs. Knowledge of autism-specific teaching approaches such as structured teaching or low-arousal environments.
