Document Controller
Duties
1. Collate and review the daily work sheets produced by the Technicians operating on sites across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
2. Verify all documentation and records submitted by technicians are clearly written, all necessary fields have been completed, statements are accurate and make sense, not responsible for the technical content of complete documentation.
3. Transcribe hand written copies of documentation, records and statutory inspection certificates submitted by technicians into word and/or pdf formats and upload to the appropriate online project folders by site name, turbine reference and equipment reference where necessary within 48 hours.
4. Issue completed documents to clients, and/provide access to the client online records area.
5. Monitor and manage project records and documentation on the company intranet.
6. Manage and control client approved access to the company online records system.
7. Notify senior management of any defect reports as required by company defect reporting procedure.
8. Prepare records of previous project inspection and/or maintenance activities for upcoming work packages.
9. Preparing regular reports for the Operations Manager & Directors communicating progress against projects and on return time statistics.
