We’re seeking an experienced Team Manager to support and guide the practice of our social workers in our Duty and Assessment Team to ensure our children and young people are receiving the right interventions at the right time, to improve their outcomes.
Our Team Managers make a vital contribution to the delivery of high-quality services and play an important part in quality assuring work and performance managing staff where needed. We are a restorative local authority, our managers are asked to model this approach across our teams and will be expected to attend and engage with mandatory training, which has been a significant investment for us to build, maintain and repair relationships with our children and families. Applicants must be experienced as a Team Manager in Safeguarding and court work, and should have strong interpersonal and relationship skills to lead, support and develop the team.
Pay Rate: Up to £48ph for experienced Team Managers
The pay rate is dependent upon experience within frontline services and is agreed with the hiring manager upon successful interview.
An agreed weekly agency accommodation / commuter travel allowance of up to £150 per week is offered for those living 50 miles or more from their work base. Claims must be recorded with detailed receipts provided to support the claims made.

* A relevant Social Work Qualification
* Registration with Social Care Wales
* Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
* 3 Years of referencing
* Driving license with access to a car
