A rare opportunity has arisen to join our outstanding team. Due to the continued success and growth of our Pre-School, we are excited to announce a vacancy for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join the dedicated team at Trinity and St Michael's Church of England and Methodist Primary School, Croston. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children; experienced in providing high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS; energetic, creative, and committed to giving every child the best possible start; and able to work in close partnership with families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
Part time 13 hours/week (08:30-16:00hrs Tues/Wed).
Fixed term until July 2026, with the possibility of this being extended should our current numbers be sustained. The post is subject to a 6 month probationary period. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
* English Level 2 or equivalent.
* Maths Level 2 or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant as defined by the DfE).
* Paediatric First Aid qualification.
* Training in additional needs/SEND support.
Essential Experience
* Previous experience working within an early years setting.
* Ability to plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to inclusive practice and supporting the needs of all learners.
* Reliable, enthusiastic and reflective in professional practice.
Desirable Experience
* Experience of working within a school-based pre-school provision.
* Experience of working with children with additional needs
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
