We seek a proactive, dedicated, and dynamic individual who is a strong team player, an excellent communicator, well-organized, and understands the importance of cultural competence and understanding. With the support of the Equality Team, this role will embed compassionate and inclusive services across the BCUHB.

Main duties of the job

1. As a member of the Equality team, develop and deliver established training sessions for staff across the health board.

3. Manage, coordinate, and deliver agreed training programs organization-wide.
4. Support the development and implementation of the Strategic Equality Objectives, WG Equality-focused action plans, and link into the Culture & Leadership Programme.
5. Work closely with the patient experience team to ensure that the voices from all communities are heard and embedded in service delivery.
6. Develop and deliver innovative Learning and Organizational Development strategies to enhance staff and patient experience.
7. Interpret national legislation and BCUHB policies, including Welsh Government's Anti-racist Wales Action Plan, LGBTQ+ Action Plan, Putting Things Right (PTR), Duty of Candour, and the Wales Duty of Quality.
8. Welsh language skills are desirable; applications in Welsh or English are equally welcome.
