Permanent Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse - Altrincham, Greater Manchester

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Altrincham for a Permanent Deputy Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This role is full time for 37.5 hours per week, along with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The practice is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their team. The practice believes in making use of their nurses' skills and abilities so you can guarantee that you will be a fully appreciated member of the team. The role will involve assisting surgeons during procedures, administering medication and all other aspects of nursing. You will be friendly and supportive to clients, having the ability to empathise with them during a potentially stressful time. The practice is dedicated to helping you grow your skills and interests in a variety of areas, including dentistry, consultations and schedule 3 surgery.
The role involves all aspects of general nursing, including:
3. Assisting in the day to day running of the practice
4. Admissions and discharges
5. Working alongside the non-clinical and clinical team to ensure the smooth delivery of patient and client care
6. Be responsible and take ownership of tasks
7. Monitoring operations and assisting the vet in surgery
8. Administering medications and taking records accurately
9. In patient care
10. Nurse clinics
11. Measuring blood pressure, sampling, and pharmacy work

58. Salary: £30, to £33, per annum, commensurate to experience
