Senior Strategy Consultant - ESG Disclosures

Join the Responsible Business team within Strategy, Performance and Sustainability to develop and communicate Nationwide's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosures.
Responsibilities
* Develop annual ESG disclosures and other external reporting.
* Communicate progress against ESG ambitions and Mutual Good Commitments to external audiences.
* Gather information from key internal stakeholders across the business.
* Produce internal reporting on progress toward mutual good commitments.
* Maintain awareness of external ESG developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to shape key messages.
Requirements
* Highly effective oral and written communication, with proven ability to produce high-quality narrative suitable for external publication.
* Strong understanding of ESG, social responsibility, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Strategic thinker, proactive, and self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and complex issues.
* Experience presenting to senior leaders and engaging with internal stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to create clear, engaging materials.
* Team player who shares knowledge and collaborates across the organization.
* Demonstrated ability to drive work forward at pace to meet goals.
