Position Summary
We are looking for a Talent Manager who reflects the innovative spirit and collaborative mindset that define ILM.
The Talent Manager is responsible for managing the ILM artists within their designated department(s). This role also works closely with Producers, Studio Production Managers, and others as appropriate to schedule artists to ensure considered casting as well as timely and efficient completion of projects.
The Talent Manager fosters a thriving studio culture by leading with intention, clarity, and integrity.
What You’ll Do:
1. Manage a portfolio of artists; including day-to-day operational support and admin, absence management, compensation actions, next show opportunities, contract extensions, etc.
2. Partner with the relevant HoD for casting, artist career development, performance reviews, and other departmental initiatives.
3. Work closely with Studio Production Managers to understand capacity changes, proactively identify and plan for incoming work, and ensure maximum utilization of artists.
4. Communicate proactively with show leadership and creative supervision regarding project requirements, crewing needs, project milestones, and potential challenges.
5. Collaborate with SPM, Production, Supervisors, and Recruitment to define and communicate ongoing recruitment requirements.
6. Partner with HRBP to establish and maintain competitive employee engagement strategies and address employee relations issues.

Additional Details:
This role is Hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days on-site per week at a designated location, with occasional remote work.
