Business Development Representative
📍 Location: Coventry (must live within a commutable distance)
💰 Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (depending on skills and experience)
🎯 Bonus: Open-ended commission scheme

About the Role
An established and growing organisation in the technology and solutions sector is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to join their successful internal sales team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. You'll play a key role in promoting innovative solutions to major retailers, banks, hospitality groups, and other commercial clients across the UK.
You'll be provided with excellent support, training, and all the tools you need to succeed - what's required is your passion, energy, and creativity to make things happen.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive outbound prospecting - calling new prospects and following up on inbound enquiries
Booking meetings and product demonstrations for the External Sales Manager
Preparing quotes and proposals
Managing and growing existing customer accounts
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information within the CRM system
The focus of the role will be to create new business opportunities while also developing relationships and growth within existing accounts.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Business Development or outbound B2B sales
Ability to manage both new business and existing accounts
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and a results-driven attitude
Experience within the retail or technology solutions sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
