Job description: We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Technical Operator within the Repack department at our Market Drayton site. In this role the key responsibilities will include: Operate the following equipment in accordance with laid down procedures: Tray infeed systems and de-traying robot Flexpicker robots Transfer lines High speed flow wrappers Robot case packers, verification/vision system Markem date coders and barcode labellers Checkweigher and reject system Automatic palletiser and associated transport system and integral stretch wrapper Fault finding, rectification or appropriate esculation Accurate down time recording Completion of hand over at satrt & end of shift WIP FP quantico to laid out standards Proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety. Cooperate with the employer in assisting them to fulfill their statutory duties. To use all company equipment for the purpose it was intended and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures. Prompt reporting of any Accident or Near Misses CI ideas to aid efficiency/cost saving, H&S etc Ownership of personal development plan, identifying relevant opportunities & taking action to address development opportunities using Pathway and other relevant sources Maintain the required hygiene standards of the Repack environment and general housekeeping of working area[s]. To carry out basic routine maintenance when required. Prompt fault finding and timely corrective action or escalation. Flexible approach to your work arrangements. Achieve production target PPSH Pots per Staff Hours. Health & Safety RIDDOR, WPI, Hazard Spots, Housekeeping Audit. Minimise machine downtime.
