Your newpanyBased in Bellshill, our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday–Friday, - (and flexibility can be offered with start and finish times). Due to the location of the organisation, applicants should have access to their own transport.Your new roleWorking as part of a team of 4 and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will undertake a range of duties. The IT system used is Sage.Your tasks will include:
1. bank reconciliations
2. allocations
3. raising sales invoices
4. processing payments
5. processing expenses
6. journals
7. processing sub-contractor payments
8. processing petty cash
9. ad hoc support within the finance function
What you'll need to succeedYou will be experienced in a similar role, but training will be provided in areas in which you are less experienced. Therefore, a positive attitude to learning is essential.You will have a team-player attitude and will also be able to work well independently. You will have professional and personablemunication skills as you will liaise with management, site staff and colleagues on a daily basis via telephone, email and face to face. Building relationships with your colleagues is key.Sage experience would be an advantage but not essential.
