The Role
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to carry out:
Gas and smoke analyser calibrations
Emissions calibration and testing
Brake tester calibration and servicing
Headlight beam setter calibration
Vehicle lift inspection, repair, and routine maintenance
Fault diagnosis and on-site repairs
Completion of service reports and compliance documentation
Providing technical support and customer advice on-site
Requirements
Essential:
Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, or related discipline)
Experience with garage equipment, vehicle testing, or calibration work
Ability to work independently and manage field-based work
Full, clean driving licence
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
Experience with vehicle lifts, brake testers, or emissions equipment
Calibration certification or relevant industry training
Knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
Previous experience working in garages or test centres
