Health and Social Care Placement Coordinator and assessor (on-site)

Salary: £27,465 to £29,841 per annum (Starting salary subject to College salary assessment process) 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

This is an excellent career opportunity to join the Health and Social Care team at Suffolk New College. This role will require you to coach and assess the skills development of the Health and Social Care learners in a range of settings including placements offsite and in industry, and 1‑1’s and workshops onsite at Suffolk New College.

Working closely with the Health and Social Care team, you will pro‑actively support and develop the skills of the learners to become the workforce of the future, through an exceptional learner experience.


Responsibilities and Qualifications

* Excellent coaching and development skills;
* Expertise and experience in the Health and Social sector;
* Ability to build and develop sustainable relationships with young people, employers and external agencies;
* Creative and innovative approaches, which deliver an exceptional student experience and student outcomes.

You will also be required to work with health and social care employers to arrange placements for our students studying across our health and social care provision. Therefore, networking and organisational skills alongside a knowledge of the vocational area are a must.

This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich Campus. However, Suffolk New College is a multi‑campus site and staff may be required to work at and travel between campuses.
