Community & Engagement Manager– Events (Hybrid Role)
You must have prior B2B events experience to be considered for the role.
International Travel | Fast-Growth Events Business
Up to £35,000 per annum + Bonus
We’re partnering with one of the fastest-growing B2B event businesses in the market. They’re rapidly expanding, consistently exceeding targets, and building a highly successful portfolio of international events that connect senior decision-makers for premium networking and commercial opportunities.
They’re now hiring a Community & Engagement Manager— a brand-new role that blends elements of marketing, client engagement, and onsite relationship building. It’s ideal for someone currently in delegate or sponsorship sales who wants to move away from the pressure of targets and into a more strategic, collaborative role.
You’ll join a fun, ambitious, and high-performing team that genuinely enjoys what they do — they work hard, celebrate wins, and deliver exceptional experiences for clients.
Why this role is different:
* You’ll still work with senior clients and understand what makes events commercially successful — but you’ll no longer be selling, all invites are VIP guest passes.
* You'll combine marketing insight and stakeholder engagement to shape VIP programmes that deliver genuine value.
* You’ll travel to live events in the UK and abroad, acting as the face of the brand for senior attendees.
* And you’ll be part of a business where growth is real — new roles, new events, and a very bright future.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Personally invite and manage senior-level stakeholders (VIP attendees) via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry networking.
* Host and support VIPs onsite at UK and international events.
* Ensure high-value attendees engage with roundtables, 1-1 meetings, and sponsor-led activities.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted outreach campaigns and content.
* Contribute to social media and email marketing activity to drive engagement and attendance.
* Support onsite and pre-event marketing collateral, with a strong eye on audience needs and tone.
* Be a key point of contact for stakeholders throughout the campaign, from first touch to event day follow-up.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in delegate or sponsorship sales and is ready to move into a broader, non-sales role.
* Is naturally confident speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Loves events, enjoys building relationships, and thrives in a people-facing role.
* Has an interest in marketing, communications, and creating meaningful experiences.
* Is proactive, organised, and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
* Ideally has experience in B2B events — exhibitions, conferences or high-level networking formats.
The Offer:
* Competitive salary based on experience
* Hybrid working – 2 days a week in a friendly and collaborative office
* 25 days holiday + 4–6 additional days over Christmas/New Year
* Birthday off
* Travel to international events
* A sociable, high-performing team culture with real energy, pace and fun
This is your chance to be part of a seriously exciting growth journey. If you’re commercially minded, people-focused, and ready to move into a more creative, strategic role, then we’d love to hear from you.
