Hafod is looking for a compassionate and proactive Housing & Wellbeing Coach to join our Extra Care team and help create a vibrant, inclusive environment where residents feel empowered and supported.
This is full time permanent on-site position for 36hrs per week.

You’ll adopt a coaching approach to support residents in engaging with their local community, reducing loneliness, and actively ageing better.
This role is predominantly based on site at Ty Cwm where you’ll also assist the Scheme Manager with day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the scheme, maintaining high standards of care and support.
At times you may be required to attend reviews or meetings off site as business needs required, so access to your own vehicle and a valid UK driving license is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver a strengths-based housing management service in line with Hafod’s policies and procedures.
2. Support residents to understand and meet their occupation contract obligations.
3. Facilitate wellbeing activities and community engagement programmes to reduce isolation.
4. Work closely with care teams, support providers, and external agencies to meet residents’ needs.
5. Manage rent accounts, support benefit applications, and ensure financial sustainability.
6. Carry out wellbeing checks, identify risks, and respond to safeguarding concerns. Maintain accurate records and support scheme administration.
What We’re Looking For :
7. Experience in housing, support, or wellbeing services, ideally with older adults.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a coaching mindset.
9. Ability to build trust and rapport with residents and their families.
10. Knowledge of community resources and a passion for promoting social inclusion.
11. Confidence in managing tenancy issues, income recovery, and partnership working.
12. Capable use of Microsoft 365 packages (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and confidence using additional packages for rent arrear management.
