River Mill is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated full-time teacher to start in September 2025 or January 2026. We would welcome applications from Early Years Careers teachers as well as experienced teachers.
The salary will be Fringe MPS/UPS
The successful candidate will have:
1. QTS or relevant teaching qualification
2. Excellent knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
3. Experience of working at a whole-school level
4. Proactive in areas of responsibility
5. High expectations for all pupils
6. Understanding of what makes ‘quality first’ teaching
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to build effective positive working relationships
9. Keen to try new and innovative ideas

We follow a creative curriculum to encourage children to become independent learners. We are looking for energetic, innovative teachers that have the ability to provide children with lessons that they will remember for the rest of their academic life. You must have good communication and organisational skills with the confidence to work on your own initiative.
