The Headteacher and Governing Body of Ysgol Gymraeg Sant Curig wish to appoint a permanent Midday Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly school.
About The Role
Pay Details: Grade 2 SPC 4 £25,949 Pro Rata £13.45 per hour.
Hours of Work / Weeks per year: 7.5 Hours per week. Monday to Friday, 11:45 to 13:30. 39 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
* Encourage pupils to keep good standards of hygiene, table manners and behaviour in the dining hall and during play.
* Help younger pupils at the server counter with the proper use of cutlery and help cut up their food when necessary.
* Ensure that pupils remain within a safe environment and encourage them to play together safely.
* Attend to minor injuries, accidents and illness during the midday break and seek appropriate assistance if necessary.
* Report immediately to the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher any incidents or acts that constitute serious infringements of school rules, such as bad behaviour.
* Ensure compliance with the Council’s Financial Regulations, Standing Orders, Policies and Procedures.
* Implement the principles of the Council’s Equal Opportunity Policy while carrying out duties.
* Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and relevant Council policies and procedures, taking reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others. Undertake fire safety evacuation duties commensurate with your role.
* Implement the principles of the Council's Environment Policy while carrying out duties.
* Report safeguarding concerns promptly to the safeguarding officer.
* Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and in accordance with the general character of the job, as required by the Chief Officer from time to time.
Qualifications
* DBS Check Required: Enhanced and Barred Children DBS.
* Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
* Previous experience in a school environment is welcomed, but applicants with no prior experience are also encouraged to apply.
