In this role you will:
* Ensure that the project management system Rapport3 works efficiently and effectively, providing a robust and value adding system to the business, to support both fee earners and financial reporting
* Ensure the continuous improvement of the system and associated reporting through the management and testing of developments and changes
* Become a system "super user" and go-to person for queries and questions whilst also providing training so that the system can be used to maximum potential
* Ensure that all relevant parties are involved in requests for developments
* Successfully implement a replacement financial system for Access Dimensions
* Ensure processes and procedures are adequately recorded, tested and updated
The ideal candidate will have:
* A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA or ACCA) and will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy environment and be familiar with project management
* A flexible 'can do' attitude and will ideally have previous experience working across a finance function as systems 'superuser'
* The ability to communicate effectively with non-finance professionals, the ability to work on your own initiative and apply sound judgement are also key skills
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills that cover a wide range of experiences
* Ability to learn quickly and to develop relationships whilst working within a highly professional team
* Previous people management experience would be an advantage
