About us
Our current research team has been expanding recently and now includes a Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigators, 5 research nurses, 2 lab technicians, and a research administrator, and we are part of a much wider practice team at the surgery.
Our GP practice has 14,800 patients and our wider team includes 11 doctors, a Clinical Pharmacy team, Mental Health Nurse, Physios and Paramedics. We are proud to be a sought‑after training practice with regular F2s and GP registrars, and an award‑winning Core Undergraduate Teaching practice. We have a daily catch‑up meeting with the whole clinical team.

* Excellent communication and team‑working skills
* Ability to work independently, with meticulous attention to detail
* Be computer literate and keen to learn new systems that each different trial brings
* Have a degree of flexibility in your working days at times. However, the vast majority of hours will be fixed
* Highly effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to keep track of multiple studies and their requirements
* Competence in a range of nursing skills such as venepuncture, ECG performing etc would be desirable though not essential, and training could be provided in these skills if needed
