We are looking to strengthen our team with a skilled Installation Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects. While a welder/fabricator background would be advantageous, this role is primarily focused on steel erection, mechanical fitting, and on-site installation work. Welding and fabrication experience is therefore desirable but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Steel erection and mechanical fitting on site
* Assisting with installation and breakdown work
* Working as part of a team to deliver projects safely and efficiently
* Troubleshooting and problem-solving under time pressure
* Supporting and potentially leading installation teams as required
Key Skills and Experience:
* Experience in steel erection, mechanical fitting, or a related installation role
* Welder/fabricator background preferred but not essential
* Ability to think clearly and solve problems during breakdown or reactive work
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable
Licences and Certifications (Preferred):
1. FLT
2. Scissor lift
3. Cherry picker
4. Telehandler
