Job Title: Creative Teaching Assistant

Location:

England, Greater London, Merton

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry:

Salary:

£400 - £700 Per week

Benefits:

Job Duties:

1. Supporting the lead teacher in delivering creative and engaging lessons
2. Assisting in the planning and preparation of educational materials
3. Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
4. Supervising students during class activities and outings
5. Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

6. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

10. Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
11. Ability to engage and motivate students
12. Organisational skills and attention to detail
13. Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

14. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
15. First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

16. Work in a classroom setting
17. Full-time hours with occasional overtime
18. Potential to work with students with diverse learning needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
