In this role, you’ll be responsible for running both flow wrapping and vertical filling lines efficiently and independently, carrying out quality checks, and keeping production moving smoothly. You’ll also play an important part in reducing waste, meeting daily KPIs, and ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.
£12.80ph with training and development opportunities available. Monday to Friday Day Shifts 6am-4pm
What do you need?
Previous food manufacturing experience (desirable)
Machine operating skills (desirable)
Health & Safety awareness (essential)
Food Safety qualification (desirable)
Ability to follow processes accurately and safely
Full right to work in the UK
What will you be doing?
Setting up and operating packing line machinery correctly and safely
Running flow wrapping and vertical filling lines independently
Performing quality control checks on finished products
Meeting daily KPIs (waste reduction, OEE, packs per minute, cost per pack)
Reducing raw material and packaging waste where possible
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and safety
Reporting issues to your Line Leader or Shift Manager promptly
Supporting continuous improvement projects and training others where required
