Role Title: HGV Vehicle Technician
Position: This is a Permanent position
Location: Fenny Lock
Hours of Work: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday - Friday (2-week rota)
Working Shifts:
* Early shift Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00
* Lateshift Week 2: 13:30 - 21:30
Salary: £31,500 - £44,200 annually, PLUS Shift Premium
This role attracts a shift premium of 20%, up to an additional £6,300 annually, potentially earning up to £50,500 with shift allowance. Overtime is available as a premium benefit but not guaranteed.

About the Role
You’ll be working on our fleet of large HGV lorries, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to safe and roadworthy standards, complying with VOSA and Partnership requirements.
Your responsibilities include completing inspections, services, defect sheets, and spare requests in line with ‘O’ Licence obligations, using best practices and current repair techniques to deliver high-quality, cost-effective repairs, and managing spare parts and consumables efficiently.

Essential Skills
* City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proven experience in commercial vehicle repairs
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness standards
