Job Title: Road Tanker Loading Operations
Project: Saltend Chemical Park

Rotation: Shift Day's only
Duration: initial 6 months but may extend
Start Date: 20/10/25
Worley is currently recruiting for a Road Loading operator. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team on Saltend Chemical Park.
Purpose/Role
Operate the FS27 Filling Station to safely and efficiently load road tankers in line with Safety Critical Procedure. Maintain compliance, protect people and the environment, and ensure product integrity at all times.
Safety and Compliance
* Follow all Safety Critical and site procedures; stop work if unsafe.
* Conduct task reviews and comply with permits, COSHH, and PPE requirements.
* Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Pre-Loading
* Verify tanker ID, product details, and paperwork before loading.
* Check Cleaning Certificate and inspect barrels for cleanliness.
* Set up gantry and safety cage for safe access.
* Confirm readiness of pumps, valves, meters, hoses, and earthing systems.
Loading Operations
* Connect bonding and earthing before transfer.
* Start loading through the HMI system once checks are complete.
* Monitor flow, pressure, and meter readings within safe limits.
* Remain at the loading bay and respond to any alarms or interlocks.
Post-Loading
* Secure valves, caps, and couplings after transfer.
* Complete all records and loading checklists accurately.
* Maintain housekeeping and report faults or leaks.
Qualifications
* Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or bulk liquid transfer.
* Knowledge of permits, COSHH, and safe systems of work.
* Ability to follow written procedures accurately.
* NVQ Level 2+ in Process Operations or equivalent.
* COMAH site or ADR awareness.
* Working at Height, Fire Safety, or First Aid certification.
