Job Summary: We are seeking caring, compassionate, dedicated Healthcare Assistant's to work in the community. This role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes or healthcare facilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. The role also requires the ability to travel between different locations to provide care services, so a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are essential. Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist patients with their daily hygiene routines ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
* Mobility Support: Help patients with mobility requirements
* Medical Support: Monitor vital signs, administer medication.
* Transport: Drive patients to appointments, social activities, or other necessary destinations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
* Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
* Documentation: Accurately record care provided and patient conditions in line with company policies and procedures.
* Home Environment: Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
* Experience
* No experience required for the right candidate, 1 years experience in client's care, outreach support and supported living setting would be an advantage.
* Care Certificate and NVQ 3 preferred.
* Familiarity with meal preparation, activities planning and outcomes focused care is advantageous.
* Induction training for all candidates including shadowing experienced staff.
* First aid and care training certification; additional trainings will be provided for the right candidate.
Working Conditions:
