Join Our Mission: SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People in Manchester!

We’re excited to announce multiple openings for passionate tutors dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND) in Manchester!

At Targeted Provision, we believe in the power of education to change lives. Our mission is to enhance the quality of educational support for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with a range of educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to each student’s needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that engage and inspire.
* Create holistic learning experiences that advance both educational and social-emotional development.
* Document progress through lesson reports and provide constructive feedback.


What We’re Looking For:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

Note: It’s essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Details:

* This role involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed position.
