About the role
Join NFU Mutual as a pivotal member of our Regional Senior Technician Underwriting team, managing complex, high-value cases and ensuring technical activity delivery. You’ll advise, train, and guide others to maintain technical knowledge and meet objectives, KPIs, and deliver excellent customer service.
You’ll manage the administration and resolution of intricate cases, ensuring regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for members. Lead by example through training and coaching team members to develop their technical skills and uphold our commitment to first-class service.
You’ll also contribute to strategic planning, technical capability development, and continuous improvement, aligning with company policies. Monitoring and reporting on technical activities, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and driving efficiency will be key parts of your role.
Please note the internal job title for this role is Regional Senior Technician – Underwriting.
About you
You should have a proven track record managing complex Commercial Underwriting cases and providing technical expertise within a regulatory environment. Experience in developing and coaching others or supporting peers to gain authority is essential.
You’ll also need:
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* High attention to detail with pragmatic and logical thinking
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships
* Report writing experience (desirable)
