Overview
This role as a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents\' lives every day. Role and Responsibilities
Your focus as a Registered Nurse is to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf while ensuring high standards of care to residents. Other key responsibilities include undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions. You will advise families and GPs of any resident condition changes, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care choices. You will also deploy and supervise the care team to ensure all tasks are completed and residents receive the required care.
* Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
* Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, ensuring they are informed and involved in ongoing care choices.
* Supervision and deployment of the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during the duty period and residents receive required care.
* Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

What We Look For – Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
* Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years\' experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualification.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
