Minimum 1+ years counselor experience required.
A counselor role is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving multiple school sites in the Crescent City, CA area. This position involves working with a mixed-age group caseload across three to four surrounding schools, providing essential therapeutic support and interventions under the ERMHS/ERICS framework.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver counseling services to students across multiple school sites.
* Support a diverse caseload encompassing mixed age groups, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
* Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to promote student well-being and academic success.
* Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and provide crisis intervention as needed.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
* Valid licensure or certification appropriate for ERMHS/ERICS counseling services.
* Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educators.
* Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites with flexibility and professionalism.
Location:
* Crescent City, CA, with travel required to three to four nearby school sites.
