Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter available for an immediate start? We are recruiting for a hands-on maintenance professional to join a busy industrial site near Bangor for an initial 4-week temporary assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, supporting essential plant operations and maintenance activities. Duties will include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on fixed plant machinery Supporting plant improvement and maintenance projects Completing risk assessments and associated health & safety paperwork Liaising with site management and operations teams regarding repair priorities and maintenance requirements Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults efficiently Using pulling and lifting equipment safely and effectively We are looking for someone with: Previous experience in mechanical fitting and industrial maintenance Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience working with conveyors, pumps, pipes, valves, filter systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings and gearboxes A good understanding of health, safety and environmental procedures The ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team The ability to drive and access to own vehicle as site not on public transport This is a full-time temporary role that will include working weekends, for approximately 4 weeks initially, based near Bangor, Gwynedd.
