Early Years Graduate Teaching Assistant - September 2024 Start
Location: Islington
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £85 - £100 Per day - in line with AWR after 12 weeks
About the Role
Are you passionate about working with children in Early Years? Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking motivated graduates to work in primary schools and early years settings across Islington.
You will work closely with children undergoing diagnosis for various additional needs, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to parents and the SENDCO. You will help develop tailored individual plans to meet each child's needs. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference from day one.

Job Responsibilities
1. Supporting the lead teacher in delivering lessons and activities
2. Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
3. Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
4. Preparing and organising educational materials
5. Assessing student performance and providing feedback
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Early Years Education is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered.
Working Conditions
* Full-Time hours: Monday to Friday
* Classroom-based role with potential outdoor activities
* May involve standing for long periods and occasional lifting of educational materials
* Work location: schools in Islington

Pay rates are inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles in the future.
