Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Middleton
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: (phone number removed)pm - Term Time Only
Pay rates: £(Apply online only) per day
Key Responsibilities
* Mentor on a 1:1 basis to provide social and emotional support
* Liaise directly with the Assistant & SENDCo to ensure behaviour plans are being successfully implemented
* Navigate around challenges particularly with challenging behaviour
* Promote self‑esteem and independence through consistent support
* Build rapport with departments, pastoral officers and SLT to ensure the highest possible level of support
Requirements
* Alternate Provision OR PRU experience is valuable but not essential
* Understanding of SEMH & experience of dealing with challenging behaviours
* Team Tech or De‑escalation training is beneficial

Additional Information
The vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
