Our client is an established Tier 1 supplier for the defence industry, working out of their purpose‑built facility which supports the full lifecycle for their product range.
As well as offering a technically challenging product line with the opportunity of project ownership and working cross‑functionally, they have worked tirelessly to create and maintain a great culture and work ethic within the business.
Job Responsibilities
* Leadership of a NEW project which has been won and this will be full cradle to grave project management
* Prepare, Coordinate, Report – as expected with all Project Management roles
* Directly dealing with both internal and external customers
Skill Required
* Engineering Degree or Equivalent
* Experienced in bringing systems together (Mechanical/Electronic backgrounds)
* High Value, Low Volume production experience
* The ideal candidate would have come from an engineering profession and become a project manager, but this is not an exclusive requirement, if you have been a Project Manager for many years in Engineering then this would be more than fine
* Experienced in Aerospace or Defence
* Candidate must be able to obtain SC Level Clearance
Compensation & Other Benefits
* £60,000 to £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)
