The opportunity: We are seeking an enthusiastic Executive Support Officer to join the Governance team in a permanent part time capacity (21 hours). The Executive Support Officer – Governance will play a crucial role in providing high-level support to the Head of Governance. This role requires strong organisational skills, high accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to forge strong relationships. Essential criteria Demonstrated experience in office administration, support roles and in maintaining confidentiality Effective organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service focus Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Demonstrated ability to provide high levels of accuracy and attention to detail Proven systems and technology related skills Desirable criteria: A qualification in Office Administration/Business Management or equivalent Knowledge of the functions of Local Government Commencing Rate: $43.19 per hour Plus 12% Superannuation About us: At Penrith City Council, we’re passionate about people in our community and in our workplace.
