This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS to take ownership of planned works, refurbishment and maintenance programmes, in a role that offers a strong salary and bonus potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost control and commercial delivery across Social Housing schemes, working predominantly from the office with regular site visits to support project teams and protect margin across live contracts. Quantity Surveyor Job Overview Commercial management of Social Housing refurbishment, planned maintenance and improvement projects from pre-start through to final account Preparation of cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates for senior stakeholders Management of valuations, payment applications, variations and change control Subcontractor procurement, package management and account agreement Liaison with site teams, housing associations and clients to monitor scope, progress and commercial risk Attendance on site as required to support delivery and validate commercial positions Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements Proven Quantity Surveying experience working on Social Housing projects (planned works, refurbishment, voids or maintenance) Experience working with NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR codes) and Social Housing contracts Strong commercial awareness with a track record in cost control and reporting Confident managing valuations, variations and final accounts Comfortable with an office-based role that includes regular site travel Full UK driving licence preferred Salary & Benefits Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 DOE Competitive overall package Bonus scheme (in some years reaching up to £7,000) Pension scheme Free on-site parking 28 days annual leave including bank holidays 5-day working week Fuel allowance Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
