We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our brand new 3-bed EBD Children's Home. This is a rare opportunity to join at the very beginning – to build a positive, nurturing environment from the ground up and lead a team dedicated to transforming young lives.
About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance in line with Ofsted requirements. You'll play a key role in shaping the culture, recruiting your own team, and embedding a child-centred ethos throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
* Register with Ofsted and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation
* Provide leadership and management to a new staff team
* Create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
* Drive continuous improvement to achieve Good and Outstanding outcomes
* Work closely with placing authorities, external partners, and families
* Monitor safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management across the home
* Lead with integrity, compassion, and ambition
Requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
* Minimum 2 years' experience managing or deputising in a children's residential setting
* Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and care planning
* Proven track record of leading teams and improving outcomes for young people
* Driver with access to own vehicle
* Passion for making a lasting difference in children's lives
