We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Director / Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth across the sell-side (investment banks, broker-dealers, capital markets firms).

This is a strategic, enterprise sales role focused on building relationships, originating deals, and closing high-value (£250k–£multi-million) opportunities across trading, risk, data, and front-office technology.

* Drive new business sales into Tier 1 & Tier 2 investment banks, broker-dealers, and sell-side institutions
* Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pipeline development, stakeholder management, negotiation, and closing
* Build and leverage senior relationships (C-level, Heads of Trading, Risk, Technology, Front Office)
* Develop account strategies for key sell-side clients across EMEA
* Position complex solutions across market data, trading platforms (OMS/EMS), risk & analytics, and financial technology
* Collaborate with product, marketing, and pre-sales teams to deliver tailored solutions
* Consistently exceed revenue targets and quota (7-figure ARR deals)
* 8–15+ years in enterprise sales / business development within financial services or fintech
* Proven track record selling into the sell-side (investment banks, broker-dealers, capital markets)
* Strong network across front office, trading desks, risk, and technology stakeholders
* Experience selling complex solutions (market data, analytics, trading systems, AI/ML, risk platforms, compliance)
* Deep understanding of capital markets workflows, trading lifecycle, and regulatory landscape
* Experience at leading firms such as market data providers, exchanges, fintech platforms, or trading technology vendors
* Background in consultative selling / solution sales
* Familiarity with electronic trading, derivatives, equities, fixed income, or FX markets
* Exposure to AI-driven analytics, automation, or decision platforms (highly desirable)
* Uncapped commission structure
* Equity / bonus potential (depending on experience)
