As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to further extend our UK team by recruiting an experienced civil/structural consulting engineer to be based from our office location in central Belfast.
We are looking for:
* a good degree in Civil Engineering
* be located in or close to Belfast, or willing to relocate upon appointment
* be actively working towards Chartered Engineer/Engineer Ireland status
* recent technical knowledge gained on heavy industrial civils projects
* experience of conducting quality inspections of materials and methods such as pre-formed and cast concrete structures and steelwork
* a good understanding of foundation piling, environmental issues, European building codes and geotechnical studies
* the ability to produce and explain high quality technical reports and feasibility studies for clients
* comfortable in interpreting engineering drawings, design specifications and functional descriptions
* fully conversant with Microsoft Office
* knowledge of applicable safety, health and welfare regulations and risk assessments, able to identify quality issues and design risks
* Full right to work in the UK (and ROI) without any visa requirements.
* a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to site meetings.
