Group Manager (x2) – Referral and Assessment

Salary: MG6 (£48,002 - £72,001 per annum)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bromley Civic Centre/Hybrid Working

Hours: Full-Time

This is an exciting time to join Bromley in transforming services for children. This role provides you with a unique opportunity to be innovative and aspirational for children. Children's Social Care at the London Borough of Bromley is seeking highly talented and ambitious people to join us.

About the Role:

We are looking for two high calibre professionals to lead our Referral and Assessment Service, that includes our team that support practitioners working with children vulnerable to exploitation (Atlas) and our Staying Together Team. The ideal candidate will need to have energy, enthusiasm and motivation to deliver outstanding services for children and families and support continuous improvement. The candidate will have vision that will assist us developing in strengthening our offer to vulnerable adolescents and will have insight, understanding and creative thinking towards the evolvement of Family Help model as part of the Governments Social Reform programme

The ideal candidates will need to provide strong leadership, support and challenge to a settled management team. They will be responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the Referral and Assessment Service and will be expected to exemplify the values and principles set out in the Bromley Relationship Model and in the Bromley Value and Behaviour Framework.

The ideal candidate will also need to work collaboratively with partner agencies and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children. They will need to adhere to the practice standards set out in Bromley and will need to provide regular, high quality, reflective supervision to team managers.

The ideal candidate will need to engage in regular quality assurance activity to ensure that the standard of practice across the service remains consistently good or above and is able to take proactive corrective action if performance falls below required and expected standards.
