Job Description:

This fast-moving, digitally-led financial services firm is shaking up SME banking — and they’re scaling fast. As they continue to expand, they’re now looking for a hands-on Vendor & Procurement Manager to help drive better performance, reduce risk, and build smarter supplier relationships across the bank.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Leading the overall vendor management strategy and governance processes
* Owning and optimising procurement and sourcing activities to drive value
* Managing a small vendor management team, setting clear priorities and goals
* Building frameworks that ensure regulatory compliance and accountability
* Tracking and reporting vendor performance and risk to senior leadership
* Overseeing audits and controls, including review of SOC 1 Type 2 reports
* Spotting opportunities to streamline supplier operations and reduce cost
* Keeping pace with regulatory changes and supplier-related best practices

Main Skills Needed:

* Strong background in vendor or supplier management (ideally 8+ years)
* Experience working in regulated sectors, ideally financial services or fintech
* Comfortable running full procurement cycles and managing supplier risk
* Skilled in vendor management tools (Gatekeeper preferred) and dashboards
* Solid knowledge of SOC 1, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and similar frameworks
* Confident people manager and clear communicator
