We’re supporting a leading agency in the sports communications space to find an experienced Account Manager / Senior Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead high-profile campaigns for some of the most prestigious brands in sport and lifestyle, delivering creative, results-driven communications.
About the role
Our client is looking for someone to develop and implement innovative campaigns that drive action, increase participation in sport, grow brand engagement, and deliver measurable results. You’ll also play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and contributing to agency growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading planning and delivery across high-profile client accounts, working closely with wider teams to deliver integrated, earned-first campaigns.
* Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
* Designing insight-led campaigns that exceed KPIs and deliver tangible outcomes.
* Securing high-quality PR coverage across broadcast, online, and print media.
* Creating standout media moments, events, and activations.
* Collaborating with digital teams to ensure campaigns translate effectively across social platforms.
* Supporting influencer and creator activity in alignment with campaign objectives.
* Managing third-party creatives and agencies to ensure high-quality delivery.
* Producing high-quality content across press materials, social copy, and thought leadership.
* Using insight and evaluation to demonstrate impact and inform future campaigns.
* Contributing to pitch development and new business opportunities.
* Managing project budgets and timelines, and leading junior team members.
Preferred experience:
* 3+ years in consumer PR, communications, sports, or major brand experience.
* Proven ability to deliver high-impact campaigns with measurable results.
* Established network across media sectors including sport, lifestyle, and entertainment.
* Experience managing multiple client accounts.
* Skilled in pitching and proposal development.
* Strong digital communications knowledge, including social media channels.
* Excellent project and budget management, with attention to detail.
* Understanding of strategic communications, measurement, evaluation, and sponsorship integration.
