Job Title: SEN Teacher - Full Time - September Start
Location: Derby
Salary: 170-250 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term or permanent)
We are working with a supportive and specialist school in Derby seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team full-time from September. The role involves working with pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH, in a nurturing and inclusive setting.
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
* Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
* Supporting students with complex needs, both academically and emotionally
* Working closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
* Managing challenging behaviour using a positive and trauma-informed approach
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
* Experience teaching in an SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision setting
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A calm, patient, and resilient attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
