Conveyancing Assistant Gateshead\n\nLooking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to provide full support to the Conveyancer. \n\nMain Responsibilities;-\n\nTo assist with file management and ensure consistent reviews of files.\nTo ensure accurate time recording of all work undertaken. \nTo undertake such work as may be delegated by your Supervising Fee Earner or Partner in relation to client matters or any administrative duties that may be required.\nTo assist your Supervising Fee Earner or Partner in prioritising the client matter and when appropriate advise the client and others of the progress of the matter.\nTo attend clients and others when appropriate on behalf of the Supervising Fee Earner or Partner, taking accurate instructions for your Supervising Fee Earner’s attention.\nTo undertake all work of a secretarial nature as may be requested by any fee earner including typing and word processing, photocopying, making and taking telephone calls.\nTo take and record accurately any message and pass the same on to the appropriate person without delay.\nTo undertake post-exchange and post-completion matter work including but not limited to Land Registry applications and submission of SDLT returns using the relevant portals. \nTo assist in the progression of plot sales.\nTo deal with archiving, storage and retrieval of client’s papers and files, open...
