We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant Outreach to provide vital support to pupils both on‑site and within the local community. This is a dynamic role where you’ll help students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills — whether in school, at home, or in alternative provision settings.
What You’ll Do
* Support pupils across a range of learning environments, including community settings and students’ homes
* Work under the guidance of the Outreach Lead and Deputy Principal to deliver personalised learning programmes
* Help create purposeful, supportive, and inclusive learning spaces wherever learning takes place
* Encourage positive behaviour, resilience, and engagement in students with diverse needs
* Keep accurate records of progress and contribute to assessments and reports
* Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and wider staff to meet individual pupil needs
* Promote safeguarding, welfare, and equal opportunities at all times
What We’re Looking For
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Experience supporting children or young people in educational or learning environments
* Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
* Confidence completing general administrative tasks
* Training or experience in relevant curriculum or learning strategies
* A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to respond to emerging situations
