Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Partnerships & Events Manager to join our Commercial Department. This role is vital in delivering excellent experiences to our partners, coordinating events and activations smoothly, and identifying growth opportunities for the club. The successful candidate will coordinate internally and manage external relationships across the club’s commercial activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Partner Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for selected commercial partners, managing requests and ensuring outstanding service that aligns with the club's standards.
2. Partner Communications: Lead all partner communications, crafting engaging updates and maintaining clear dialogue across key accounts.
3. Event Management: Assist in planning and executing key commercial events, including networking breakfasts, sponsor forums, kit launches, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
4. Matchday Coordination: Lead booking and coordination of matchday commercial experiences, including hospitality, partner activations, and VIP arrangements.
5. New Business Prospecting: Research and identify potential new sponsors and partners, supporting pitches and presentations.
6. Commercial Operations Management: Oversee the department’s calendar, team tasks, and internal communications, ensuring smooth daily operations and alignment. Support contractual obligations, including branding, digital activations, hospitality, and community engagement, maintaining accurate CRM records.
