Head of Sales (UK) | B2B SaaS AI start up | Hands on in early months

£200,000 - 300,000 (50/50 split) + equity (level dependant)
Important note - Early sales pipeline has been generated through a one of the VCs partners who has a strong sales background, and the founding team. The future momentum will be built by yourself, so whilst this role will grow the GTM function, the business require a hands on sales operator who is willing to run hard in the early months as the team builds underneath them.

The founding team brings deep experience across AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology, and has already secured traction with major enterprise customers. A significant seed round is landing next month, creating the platform for rapid scale.
The product sits at the heart of how organisations will adopt AI over the next decade. It is not an incremental tool. It is infrastructure for the AI era.
The Head of Sales will join as a true founding commercial leader, reporting into the COO and working closely with the other founders, shaping go to market from the ground up and helping define a category that is becoming mission critical for modern enterprises.

Core skills
* Proven B2B SaaS sales experience in a startup or early scale up setting.
* Operated in a high growth startup or early scaleup.
* Background of closing complex, £100k+ ARR enterprise deal, and comfort selling into regulated, security-conscious, or
* high-trust environments.
* Demonstrated ability to generate new business through structured outbound activity, not only through existing contacts.
* Strong enterprise deal skills, including discovery, stakeholder management, and navigating complex buying cycles.
* Ability to balance strategy and execution, closing deals while building repeatable process.
* Leadership experience even if just in small team context.
* Clear, credible communication and the ability to sell complex technical value to senior stakeholders.
* High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.
Nice to have
Experience selling AI, data, security, or adjacent technical SaaS products.
Early experience hiring or mentoring junior sales talent.
