About the Role
At JD Gyms, we're looking for a hands‑on, energetic Assistant General Manager to support club performance, inspire the team, and deliver an exceptional member experience. You'll be a visible leader on the gym floor, a trusted deputy to the General Manager, and a driving force behind the club's success.
Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and support the team – set high standards and motivate performance.
* Be a visible presence on the gym floor, engaging with members and building community.
* Ensure operational excellence across health & safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
* Support membership sales, retention, and local marketing initiatives.
* Take ownership of key business areas and KPIs, stepping up when the GM is off‑site.
Qualifications
* Experience in a supervisory or management role.
* Strong leadership skills and a passion for fitness.
* Confidence and approachability on the gym floor.
* Proven sales and customer service ability.
* Ambition to grow into a future General Manager role.
