Tool Cutter Grinder - Northampton - Formula 1
This will be a long contract working as a CNC Grinder, initially until December 2026
This role will be 100% based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, NN69GZ.
In this position you will be responsible for the manufacture and modification of Machine Cutting Tools within a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining the required quality standards.
We're looking for a candidate who has good experience in manufacturing or modifying Machine Cutting Tools to the required quality standards, while making use of CAD/CAM systems and drawings as appropriate
Ideally, we're looking for a candidate with good knowledge and experience in Tool Cutter Grinding and also be able to:
* Set, operate and program CNC Cutter grinding machines
* Set, operate and program CNC Inspection equipment
* Adhere to, create and maintain standard operating procedures for machine processes and operations
* Liaise with other departments (e.g. Quality, Engineering) to ensure the development of the product is optimised
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.
* Adhere to all relevant Health & Safety legislation, the company Quality Management System (QMS) and all relevant company processes and policies.
* Maintenance of allocated equipment through designated TPM controls and timely reporting of issues.
The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
