We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Campsie. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor.
Career Key Responsibilities / What you’ll do
* Controlling and managing the day-to-day production levels on the shop floor to ensure that the targets are achieved and relevant parts are available in a timely manner.
* Maintaining the highest quality of product.
* Attending and organising the daily and weekly production meetings.
* Managing the manufacturing team on a daily basis in terms of labour, work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and grievance issues that may arise.
* Promoting health & safety within the workplace.
* Ensuring the line runs in accordance with lean manufacturing practices and principles.
* Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
* Ensuring compliance with all general site rules, regulations and policies.
* Promoting and maintaining compliance with all Health and Safety Regulations.
Qualifications / Education
* GCSE level or equivalent.
Experience Level
* Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured manufacturing environment.
* Experience and proven track record of supervisory and/or people management is essential.
* Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques is an advantage.
* Computer literate with experience of Oracle/ERP systems.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of production through the manufacturing line to meet the weekly production targets in the most effective manner.
